He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personal [hide]
Description: This late middle aged man is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather and is in decent physical shape. His hair is long and red with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.
History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is unsatisfied with his job
Flaws: Ugly, Insomniac. Bonds: Job, Enemies. Occupation: Detective

Personal [hide]
Description: He dresses like a well dressed Beggar does. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has hazel eyes.
Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.
History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he is unsatisfied with his job
Ideals: Artistic, Philantrophist. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Job, Enemies. Occupation: Beggar

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
