History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Detective like his mother before him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: An older man who wears a black collared shirt and brown pants. He accessorizes with a yellow scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are violet.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adelard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Adelard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
