His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he loathes his own lifestyle
