History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in the south. Lance was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Animal Trainer. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
