Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Jocelyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.
