His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: William was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Born in the north to a Marshal, Ernest learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Marshal and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his old friends
