History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Trey was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Miner soon after.
