History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
