Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. He has red hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is singed and shortened. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 42. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of goblins

Description: This light-skinned male wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is white and very short. His eyes are brown.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: John hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a blue costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
