History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Adelard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is an amazing painter.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, marred by sweets. His hair is auburn and curly. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Robert took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He bought a crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.
