History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Richard studied abroad. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a engraver and was forced into it by his family

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
