History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Priest. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Patrick is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Gilbert was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dilettante. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
