History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. A true patriot, Tim would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the west to a Mercenary, Tim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to be a stableman again

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
