Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bowyer who has hired him part-time. Trey is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was a Engraver, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Conrad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: A 5'5" northern man, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theodoric embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Theodoric was taken on many hunting expeditions. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Conrad was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
