His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Chad took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He bought a whip and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Manfred's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a Armorer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Manfred was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Seamstress. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
