The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Chad took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.
