History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Gifted from a young age, Patrick studied abroad. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Knight. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the west to a Beggar, Alexandre learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Beggar.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Layabout mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again.
