History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
