History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own.
