Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.
