History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Description: This man wears a tan shirt, with a grey mid length shorts with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and sports empty pouches on his belt. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Clerebold is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Stylist, who enjoyed hunting, Clerebold was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and many dire rats want him driven away
