Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his writing dream.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Lance learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and further expansion of business

Description: This slender man stands about 5'5". He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born in the south to a Sage, Clerebold learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Clerebold and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To be a Guard again.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
