History: Born to a Slave Trader, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Patrick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Patrick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He is a Masseuse first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Shane was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult.
