History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: He got into the Banker business at a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
