He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. A true patriot, Alexandre would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to reunite with his old friends
