Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Frederick liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shepherd who has hired him part-time. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's in love; and wants his loneliness to end

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
