History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
