History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Tim was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Kyle wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Kyle was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
