Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roger does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Hugh liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
