By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He got into the Doctor business at a young age. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
