History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears tattered old clothes. His hair is always cut to a buzz. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Dean is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
