Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a great chef.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Odo and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Everard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Everard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
