Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He has achieved small success as a Servant.

History: Lewis was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
