History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a crush on the local courier
