History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Gunter was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.
