Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
