History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and he is greedy
