History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything.
