History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Lewis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Godfrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He became a Sage soon after.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
