History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Gomory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This western man wears a yellow tunic with grey highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is blonde and curly. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born in a small island village. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
