History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Hubert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he loathes his own lifestyle
