History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
