History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is greedy

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the north to a Bowyer, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a Bowyer soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Dustin was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Mayor. He's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Locksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
