Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aldous liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his lance. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His tied-back hair is red. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A 5'9" northern man, he wears long strands of amber and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is greedy

Description: He stands about 6'0" and wears a white cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He struck the Engraver job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortspear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Trym embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
