History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Rolf and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rolf discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rolf fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Lewis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Raymond was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

He carries with him a set of lances, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
