Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He tends to wear a large pastel jacket. He has black hair. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Norman was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor, and he perpetually has his monstrous two handed axe ready. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Geoffrey was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Geoffrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has never given up on his writing dream.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This tall, slender man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born into a rich family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cory was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
