History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
