History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Simon was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born into a rich family. His first spouse was a Laborer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a great chef.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Miles began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
