Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Revenge; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Laborer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world
