He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
